Word from the chair

“In the past decade a treasure of knowledge has been built in the field of TB vaccines and biomarkers, among a dynamic group of excellent scientists from universities and institutes from Europe and abroad. Based on the promising results so far, a future with protective vaccines against TB is in sight. This consortium, coordinated by TBVI, was able to achieve these remarkable results by a unique way of collaboration, where open sharing and true partnership were and still are key elements. I am proud to have chaired the TBVAC2020 project, where excellent input from both renowned TB vaccine and biomarker researchers, as well as fresh insights from new partners, will bring us closer to new TB vaccines for all.”
